Homeless Service

The Old Firehouse Day Shelter is a full-service center that supports individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

We serve as a central access point for services, working in collaboration with local agencies to connect people with the resources they need to rebuild their lives and achieve long-term self-sufficiency.

Services and Amenities Provided

We offer a wide range of daily services to help meet both immediate and long-term needs:

Basic Needs
  • Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM

  • Lunch: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Shower and laundry facilities

  • Clothes closet and “Dress for Success” clothing

  • Mailing address access

  • Personal lockers

Housing & Shelter Support
  • Referrals for permanent housing

  • Housing assistance for certifiable homeless individuals (restrictions apply)

  • Room In The Inn program (temporary winter shelter: Dec 1 – Feb 28)

  • Extreme weather shelter (cold/heat relief)

Employment & Job Readiness
  • Resume building support

  • USB thumb drives for document storage

  • Job leads and job fair notifications

  • Transportation for job searches (restrictions apply)

Referrals & Resource Connections
  • Counseling and mental health support

  • Substance abuse programs

  • Medical and dental care

  • Education and training programs

  • Legal aid and other community services

Room In The Inn – Winter Shelter Program

From December 1 through February 28, local churches partner with us to provide:

  • A hot meal

  • A safe, warm place to sleep

Volunteers and supplies are always needed.
