Community Programs is accepting low income home energy assistance program (LIHEAP) applications for program year beginning October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. Applications are available at the Community Action Agency central office located at 150 Lafayette Road, Clarksville, TN 37042 or can be printed off this website located under the Communities Programs tab. For past due energy bills, please call 931-896-1800 for more information. These funds are made available to Community Action Agency by contract with TN Housing Development Agency.

Status as a Community Action Agency is the result of an explicit designation by local or state government. A Community Action Agency has a tripartite board structure that is designated to promote the participation of the entire community in the reduction or elimination of poverty.
